Passion for Ministry
"Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of his power." - Ephesians 3:7
It is beatiful
(& sometimes messy)

What I love about serving the Lord Jesus:
Preaching. I love preaching God’s word with truth and grace, bringing relevance and a sense of conviction to the congregation. Seeing lessons of Scripture unfold in everyday occurrences of life, I love sharing “God sightings” captured on personalized license plates, through sailing stories, or even grocery store encounters.
Pastoral Care. This area of ministry is a personal and special part of my role,. Time spent with families at the hardest and the happiest times of their lives is always a priority for me. We find the power of God who conquers the grave, even the most difficult of circumstances.
Community. I love a community where I know the names of those I worship with on Sundays. I love active church involvement in outreach events, seeing and serving needs in the community through discipleship. I love equipping others to be the hands and feet of Jesus: serving, blessing, and making the most of all we have been given.
Family. I value a multigenerational congregation as it passed down important traditions to the next generation, while also being open to new ways of being the church. When we focus on showing our fiery love for Jesus, the Holy Spirit convicts the hearts of others and leads them to relationship with him.
Ministry
Moments
A few of my favorite moments in ministry are captured to the right.
Some originated with my leadership; some were a collaboration with others who took the lead.
All were Spirit-led, and I'd love to share more about what God did in them.
